Terms and Conditions

To our loyal clients please ensure that the terms and conditions are read and understood before a deposit is paid. By payment of deposit constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions shown below.

Contract

  • Bookings are secure once 30% deposit has been made within 5 days of day of invoice being issued
  • Goods are the full responsibility of the hirer at all times

Payment Terms

  • To secure your booking the hirer agrees to place a 30% deposit with Unique Party Hire within 5 days of receiving their invoice. Items are not held without a deposit.
  • For all deliveries balance is due one week prior to the event
  • Unique Props & Events accepts bank transfer, cash payments and credit cards. All payments by credit card will occur a 1% surcharge.

Bond

  • Unique Party Hire requires a copy of credit card  and must be taken before receiving the agreed hired items
  • All pick ups require a cash bond of $50-$100 which will be refunded to the hirer once the hired items are returned to Unique Party Hire in the same condition  they were received.

Cancellations

  • All cancellations need to be given in writing
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will forfeit their 30% deposit
  • Cancellations made whin 30 days of the event will incur a $ 40 administration fee which will be deducted from the deposit paid
  • Deposits cannot be transferable between orders

Insurance

  • Unique Party Hire will not be held responsible for any injury to persons or damage to property that may occur due to any products supplied by Unique Party Hire

Loss & Damage

  • Should any item/s become lost, stolen or damaged when in possession of the hirer, the hirer needs to immediately contact Unique Party Hire
  • The hirer agrees to pay for all products lost, destroyed, damaged or not returned to Unique Party Hire
  • Replacement costs will be determined by Unique Party Hire on the current pricing and availability of the items on the market
  • All reimbursements shall be paid by the hirer within 48 hours of the drop off or collection

Return Policy

  • All products are hired out on a three day basis
  • Customer pick up is welcome from Unit 126, 7 Hoyle Avenue Castle Hill

Pick Up Friday 10am – 2pm or Saturday 9am – 10am

Returns Monday 9am – 2pm

  • If a public holiday falls on Monday hire items are due back on Tuesday
  • If a public holiday falls on Friday hire items are collected on the Thursday
  • Should the hirer fail to return the items on the allocated times a late return fee of $20 per day will be charged, unless agreed upon by Unique Props & Event in writing

Delivery & Collection

  • Collection is when items are packed up and organised without delay. Any delays for collection will occur an extra charge of $100 per 30 mins
  • Unique Party Hire do not set up and pack down. Set up and pack down is the responsibility of the hirer
  • Please ensure there is adequate side access for all deliveries
  • Cartage fee will occur an extra charge when
  • More than 20m distance from vehicle to event location
  • Stairs, lift, escalator or steep descent

Cleaning

  • In regards to linen, bar socks, chairs etc we ask you take care when using candle wax as stains may occur and a fee will be charged which will forfeit the hirers bond
  • Our items are not be left out in damaging weather, as our items are not waterproof
  • Cutlery, charger plates and cake stands/trays are to be hand washed only and returned clean
